Prohibits the use of bots (automated software designed to replicate human activity) to purchase event tickets in excess of posted ticket purchasing limits

Bans using bots to employ multiple IP addresses, accounts, or email addresses to circumvent ticket purchasing limits for entertainment events

Prohibits bot use to bypass electronic queues, waiting periods, presale codes, or other sales volume limitation systems during online ticket sales

Makes it illegal to use bots to disable security measures or access control systems used to validate ticket authenticity

Applies to concerts, theatrical performances, sporting events, exhibitions, and shows held in Michigan that are open to the public and charge admission; takes effect only if House Bill 4262 is also enacted
