Appropriates $395,299,200 gross ($287,573,800 from state general fund) for Michigan's judiciary for fiscal year ending September 30, 2026, supporting 684.5 full-time equivalent positions

Funds compensation for 591 justices and judges across all court levels, including $127,964,500 for salaries, retirement contributions, and Social Security for Supreme Court justices, Court of Appeals judges, and circuit, district, and probate court judges

Allocates $20,752,300 for problem-solving courts (drug treatment, mental health, and veterans courts) and $3,350,000 for swift and sure sanctions programs aimed at reducing prison populations for nonviolent offenders

Provides $25,458,400 for indigent criminal defense programs, including $19,047,500 for the appellate public defender program (105 FTEs) and $3,202,800 for juvenile life resentencing cases

Includes one-time appropriations of $1,000,000 for an innocence project grant to the University of Michigan Law School's Innocence Clinic and $499,900 to address Judicial Tenure Commission case backlog
