Reduces the petition signature requirement from 8% to 5% of votes cast for secretary of state to place a ballot question on Sunday alcohol sales restrictions

Allows county legislative bodies to directly place Sunday alcohol sales questions on the ballot by majority resolution, without requiring a citizen petition

Adds new ballot language options asking whether Sunday alcohol sales should be "permitted" (in addition to existing language asking whether sales should be "prohibited")

Maintains existing framework allowing counties, cities, villages, or townships to restrict spirits and mixed spirit drink sales between 7 a.m. and 12 noon on Sunday, or between 7 a.m. Sunday and 2 a.m. Monday

Limits submission of Sunday alcohol sales questions to county electors to no more than once every 4 years
