Requires school districts, intermediate school districts, and public school academies to have at least one employee trained in opioid antagonist (naloxone) use if the Department of Health and Human Services supplies the medication at no cost

Extends existing legal immunity protections to school employees who administer opioid antagonists in good faith, protecting them from criminal action or civil damages except for willful or wanton misconduct

Mandates schools develop policies requiring notification of parents/guardians when an opioid antagonist is administered to a student and requiring staff to call 9-1-1 for suspected opioid overdoses

Defines opioid antagonist as naloxone hydrochloride or other FDA-approved drugs for treating drug overdose
