Prohibits insurers from applying higher copayments, deductibles, or coinsurance for these conditions compared to other covered benefits, and bars denial of coverage based on previous treatment or diagnosis under a different name such as autoimmune encephalopathy

Mandates that insurers cannot require patients to first try therapies treating only neuropsychiatric symptoms before authorizing immunomodulating therapies like IVIG

Requires insurers to follow treatment recommendations from medical professional consortiums that publish clinical practice guidelines based on evidence of positive patient outcomes
