Requires the Michigan Department of Education to develop or adopt cultural competency professional learning resources for schools by June 1, 2027

Mandates all educators receive cultural competency training starting with the 2027-2028 school year, covering topics including diversity, cultural identity, implicit bias, and historic contributions of various ethnic and cultural groups

Requires all non-educator school personnel who have contact with students to also receive cultural competency training, though they are exempt from the historic contributions component

Training resources must include information on Asian American/Pacific Islander, Black, Indigenous, Latine/Hispanic, Jewish American, European American, Middle Eastern, North African, and Chaldean American people's contributions to Michigan and the United States

Allows the department to provide schools with instructional materials on the histories of these cultural groups aligned with state social studies content standards
