Prohibits electronic voting systems acquired on or after January 1, 2026 from including any parts or equipment produced by entities with "covered communications equipment or service" listed on the Federal Communications Commission's restricted list under 47 USC 1601

Requires the Board of State Canvassers to deny approval for any electronic voting system acquired after January 1, 2026 that contains parts from entities on the FCC's restricted communications list

Allows continued repair, maintenance, and acquisition of replacement components for electronic voting systems that were acquired and approved before January 1, 2026

Makes technical amendments throughout the Michigan Election Law to update language, changing "person" to "individual," "shall" to "must," and updating capitalization for titles like "President" and "Vice President"
