Extends the Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy's authority to charge fees for water treatment and distribution operator training and certification programs until October 1, 2029

Fees collected from operator training and certification programs must be deposited into the operator training and certification fund

Requires public water supplies to be supervised by properly certified operators who must renew certificates and complete mandatory continuing education or demonstrate competency

Maintains the existing advisory board structure with 9 members (including certified operators, public members, and industry representatives) to assist in examining and certifying water system operators

Took immediate effect upon the Governor's approval on October 7, 2025
