Retains consumer protections including 60-day notice requirements (180 days for public entities) when alternative electric supplier service is terminated and prohibitions on switching customers without consent

Maintains licensing requirements for alternative electric suppliers, including mandates to maintain a Michigan office, demonstrate financial and technical capabilities, and collect applicable taxes
