Updates the Michigan Lobbying Act to reflect current state department names and organizational structures, including renaming references from "department of commerce" to "department of labor and economic opportunity" and adding new departments like "environment, Great Lakes, and energy"

Expands the list of "officials in the executive branch" subject to lobbying regulations to include directors and commission members from reorganized departments such as Health and Human Services, Natural Resources, and the Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential

Removes references to the Michigan Strategic Fund board from the definition of officials in the executive branch, aligning with the elimination of that entity

Reorganizes and renumbers definitional subsections for clarity, including moving definitions for "governmental body," "influencing," and "representative of the lobbyist" to improve statutory organization

Takes effect only if Senate Bill No. 631 of the 103rd Legislature is also enacted into law
