Increases the number of Assistant Presidents pro tempore from one to two, to be elected by a majority of Senators at the first session of a quadrennium

Reduces the membership of the Elections and Ethics Committee from 7 members to 6 members

Maintains all other standing committee sizes and structures unchanged, including 17 standing committees and 8 statutory standing committees

Preserves existing rules for majority and minority party caucus elections of leadership positions and requirements for caucuses to comply with the Open Meetings Act
