Revisor of statutes must conduct a written survey of persons and entities authorized to receive free distributions of 2010 Minnesota Statutes, 2010 Minnesota Laws, and 2011 Minnesota Rules.

Survey must notify recipients that statutes, laws, and rules will be available on the revisor's website before print publications become available.

Revisor must survey each member of the legislature individually, but may survey a representative for other entities.

Revisor must distribute only the number of free copies that recipients request in response to the survey.

If a later written request is received, the revisor may distribute free copies if authorized by law and available.
