Proposes an amendment to the Minnesota Constitution adding a new section to article XIII defining marriage as the only valid domestic legal union between a man and a woman in Minnesota.

Requires submission of the proposed amendment to voters at the 2010 general election.

Presents voters with a yes/no question asking whether the Minnesota Constitution should be amended to provide that a marriage between a man and a woman is the only domestic legal union that shall be valid or recognized in Minnesota.
