Designates September 16 of each year as American Legion Day in Minnesota to recognize the organization's charter date of September 16, 1919.

Recognizes the millions of American Legion veterans who have dedicated themselves to service of community, state, and nation.

Expresses appreciation of Minnesotans for veteran service on the occasion of the Legion's 90th year of existence and each year thereafter on the anniversary of its charter date.

Adds new statute to Minnesota Statutes, chapter 197, to codify American Legion Day as law.
