Provides liability immunity for entities and their agents who volunteer without compensation to assist local jurisdictions during emergencies or disasters, provided they register with the jurisdiction and operate under its direction and control.

Provides liability immunity for entities and their agents who volunteer without compensation to assist state agencies during emergencies or disasters, provided they register with the state agency and operate under its direction and control.

Exempts both local and state volunteers from civil damages and administrative sanctions for good-faith acts or omissions in rendering emergency care, advice, or assistance.

Immunity does not apply if the entity or agent acts in a willful, wanton, or reckless manner.
