Vendors entering into contracts for deed involving residential real property must deliver a copy with original signatures in recordable form to the vendee and pay or reimburse delinquent taxes necessary for recordation.

"Contract for deed" is defined as an executory contract for residential real property where the seller provides financing and the purchaser has a right to possession, excluding purchase agreements, earnest money contracts, leases, and mortgages.

"Residential real property" means property for one to four families where the purchaser intends to occupy it, excluding family farm security loans and transactions under sections 583.20 to 583.32.

Condominium and planned community declarations, bylaws, amendments, and supplemental declarations must be entered as memorials on Common Interest Community Certificates (CICCT) rather than on individual unit certificates of title.

Planned communities existing before August 1, 2009 must issue a CICCT upon recording any amendment or supplemental declaration identifying the community number, with no additional fee required.
