HF 2838 Summary

• Authorize the commissioner of natural resources to pay up to $18,000,000 for lands within the boundaries of Lake Vermilion State Park established under Laws 2008, chapter 368, article 3, section 2, subdivision 3.

• Incorporate all lands within the boundaries of Soudan Underground Mine State Park that have been acquired for park purposes into Lake Vermilion State Park effective upon the section's enactment.

• Direct the revisor of statutes to incorporate the statutory history of Soudan Underground Mine State Park under the listing for Lake Vermilion State Park in Minnesota Statutes, section 85.012, subdivision 38a.

• Repeal Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 85.012, subdivision 53a.
