Amends Minnesota Statutes section 164.06, subdivision 2 to allow nullification of town road interest extinguishments if specific conditions are met.

Permits nullification when town interest was not recorded with county recorder but was recorded with county auditor prior to 1972, and the state or political subdivision constructed or funded a road or bridge improvement on the affected right-of-way.

Allows property owners who lost sole access to property due to extinguishment to petition the town board for nullification if the road was the only means of access and extinguishment occurred within the last ten years.

Deems nullified roads to be cartways with no additional damages or payments required beyond those paid when the fee interest was originally acquired; cartways may be converted to private driveways under Minnesota Statutes section 164.08, subdivision 2.

Effective the day following final enactment.
