Requires renovations on residential properties and child-occupied facilities constructed prior to 1978 to comply with Code of Federal Regulations, title 40, sections 745.80 to 745.92 for lead poisoning prevention, effective February 1, 2011.

Mandates firms performing renovations on pre-1978 residential structures or child-occupied facilities to obtain certification in accordance with Code of Federal Regulations, title 40, section 745.89, unless the property qualifies for an exemption under section 745.82.

Requires firms performing pre-1978 renovations to provide information to the commissioner enabling proof of certification and authorizes the Department of Labor and Industry to provide a link to the United States Environmental Protection Agency Web site for verification.

Applies pre-1978 structure renovation requirements to section 326B.106, subdivision 14 licensing standards under Minnesota Statutes section 326B.805.
