Amends Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 182.663, subdivision 1 to require the commissioner to develop and maintain an occupational safety and health statistics program covering all employments within the chapter's scope.

Requires compilation of accurate statistics on work deaths, injuries, and illnesses including the race and ethnicity of the worker affected.

Covers all deaths and all disabling, serious, or significant injuries and illnesses, excluding only minor injuries requiring first aid treatment without medical treatment, loss of consciousness, work restrictions, or job transfer.

Requires programs be developed to enable the state to coordinate and cooperate with a federal data collection and record-keeping program.
