Commissioner of agriculture, in consultation with the commissioner of commerce, must submit a report by February 1, 2011 containing storage capacity data for propane and anhydrous ammonia in state terminals and within 100 miles of state borders.

Report must include a projection of total agricultural demand for propane and anhydrous ammonia in the state in 2020 and an evaluation of whether transportation systems and storage capacity will meet projected demands.

Report must identify options for state actions to ensure projected demand is met efficiently and economically.

$40,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 2011 from the liquefied petroleum gas account for conducting the study.

Appropriation is a one-time allocation; if enacted multiple times during the 2010 legislative session, it is effective only once.
