Amends Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 150A.05, subdivision 1 to modify the definition of practicing dentistry.

Adds new subsection (10) defining tooth whitening as a dental practice when dispensing whitening agents or bleaching teeth by any means or method.

Exempts over-the-counter tooth whitening products purchased for personal use from dental licensing requirements.

Allows individuals authorized by the dental board to engage in tooth whitening activities without being licensed dentists.
