Appropriates $4,400,000 from the fire safety account established under Minnesota Statutes, section 2971.06, to the commissioner of public safety for disbursement.

Allocates $3,000,000 for firefighter training programs.

Allocates $650,000 for Task Force 1 training and $300,000 for the decontamination trailer program of the Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management.

Allocates $275,000 for Chemical Assessment Team training and $175,000 for shared firefighting services grants to local units of government.

Appropriation is available through June 30, 2012.
