Amends Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 340A.419 to allow exclusive liquor stores to conduct tastings of wine, malt liquor, or spirits (previously limited to wine only).

Defines a tasting as an event of no more than four hours' duration where participants pay a fee to sample beverages by the glass without paying separately for each glass.

Allows exclusive liquor stores to conduct tastings on premises of on-sale intoxicating liquor license holders or wine license holders, subject to compliance with the statute.

Permits participants to complete preference forms during tastings to assist with future off-premises purchases, and prohibits tasting beverages from being sold for off-premises consumption.

Requires exclusive liquor stores to use tasting fees only to defray the cost of conducting the event and mandates premises insurance as required by section 340A.409, subdivision 1.
