• Includes administrative law judges, compensation judges, and unemployment law judges in the State Office of Administrative Hearings and Department of Employment and Economic Development as public officials.

• Expands definition to cover members and administrators of metropolitan agencies, members of the Minnesota Ballpark Authority, and citizen members of the Legislative-Citizen Commission on Minnesota Resources.

• Removes references to watershed district managers and watershed management organization members from the definition of public official.
