School districts may permanently transfer funds from any account or fund to any other account or fund on June 30, 2011, provided the transfer does not increase state aid obligations or grant additional levy authority.

Transfers within or from the debt redemption fund are prohibited.

School boards must hold a public meeting on proposed transfers and adopt a written resolution authorizing the transfers before any transfer can occur.

This section is effective July 1, 2010.
