Establishes Section 13.823 in Minnesota Statutes regarding law enforcement data from other states.

Defines "law enforcement agency" to include any agency with law enforcement function as described in section 13.82, subdivision 1, or an equivalent agency in another state.

Requires that data received by Minnesota law enforcement agencies from out-of-state law enforcement agencies be classified using the same data classification or treatment as in the originating state.

Permits Minnesota law enforcement agencies to share non-public data received from other states with other law enforcement agencies if the data is pertinent and necessary for initiating, furthering, or completing an investigation.
