Entities administering closed landfill cleanup projects funded by state bond proceeds must conform to occupational safety and health standards under federal law and Minnesota chapter 182.

Develop a comprehensive human health and safety plan for each project location and provide personal protective equipment to all workers against identified contaminants of concern and contaminants of potential concern.

Identify contaminants using methods substantially the same as the United States Environmental Protection Agency's Superfund remedial investigation processes.

Submit a report to the chairs of the House and Senate committees having jurisdiction over labor and environment before commencing work on a state-bond-funded project on how they are complying with occupational safety and health standards.

Provide on-site monitoring of compliance with occupational safety and health standards at all times workers are performing labor at a project location.
