Amends Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 325E.37, subdivision 6 regarding sales representative agreements and termination protections.

Applies to sales representatives who are Minnesota residents, maintain their principal place of business in Minnesota, or work in a geographical territory that includes part or all of Minnesota.

Requires any demand for arbitration under the existing statute to be made in writing and delivered to the principal within one year after the termination agreement becomes effective.

Voids any contract provision between a sales representative dealing in plumbing equipment or supplies and a principal that attempts to waive provisions of Minnesota Laws 2007, chapters 135 or 140, whether through express waiver or by subjecting the contract to another state's laws.

Prohibits contracts from limiting a sales representative's right to initiate litigation or alternative dispute resolution in Minnesota, and clarifies that principals establishing business relationships with sales representatives to solicit orders in the state are doing business in Minnesota for statute purposes.
