Amends Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 243.166, subdivision 6 to clarify predatory offender registration time periods.

Registration requirement continues for ten years from initial registration or until probation, supervised release, or conditional release expires, whichever occurs later; commitment periods do not count toward the ten-year requirement.

If a registrant is arrested for new offenses or violates probation, parole, supervised release, or conditional release prior to the end of their registration period, the registration period restarts upon conviction and incarceration.

Defines "incarcerated" to include credit for time served prior to conviction or revocation; registrants must resume the ten-year period from release date or expiration of probation/release period, whichever occurs later.

Establishes lifetime registration requirements for certain serious offenses under subdivisions 1b, 1c, and specific statutes covering certain sex offenses and crimes against children.
