Amends Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 626.8517 to redefine "relevant military experience" for peace officer reciprocity examination eligibility.

Establishes three qualifying pathways: five years' active service in military law enforcement; three years' active service in military law enforcement plus a two-year or more degree from a regionally accredited postsecondary institution; or five years' cumulative experience as a full-time peace officer in another state combined with active service in military law enforcement.

Requires honorable discharge from military active service as evidenced by form DD-214 for eligibility to take the reciprocity examination.

Defines "active service" according to Minnesota Statutes section 190.05, subdivision 5.
