Repeals requirements for household goods movers to file tariffs with the commissioner, including Minnesota Statutes sections 221.161 and 221.171.

Removes the requirement that household goods mover permit holders file schedules of rates and charges with the commissioner within 45 days of receiving their permit.

Eliminates the commissioner's authority to regulate household goods carrier rates and charges, suspend tariffs, or hold hearings on the reasonableness of rates.

Maintains tariff filing requirements for other motor carriers transporting property and continues regulation of household goods carriers in other safety and operational matters.

Repeals associated administrative rules (Minnesota Rules parts 7805.0300 and 7805.0400) governing tariff filing procedures.
