Reduces penalty for possessing replica firearms or BB guns on school property to gross misdemeanor.

Maintains misdemeanor penalty for authorized permit holders who carry firearms on school property and prohibits forfeiture of lawfully carried firearms.

Provides exemptions for active peace officers, military personnel on duty, firearm safety courses, ceremonial color guards, gun shows, and persons with written principal permission.
