Permits the city of Richfield to impose a response time residency requirement on firefighters, notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes section 415.16, subdivision 2

Minimum response time requirement cannot be less than ten minutes

Requirement applies only to firefighters hired after the effective date and only during the first ten years of employment

Section expires seven years from the effective date

Effective the day following final enactment
