Creates a temporary livestock production input lien for suppliers furnishing livestock production inputs to debtors who have filed a mediation request under chapter 583.

Temporary lien applies to livestock production inputs provided during the 45 days following a mediation request and becomes effective when inputs are furnished to the purchaser.

Perfected temporary lien has priority over lender security interests in the same livestock or proceeds for the lesser of the amount stated in the lien-notification statement or the unpaid retail cost of inputs, subject to limitations on the lien amount.

Suppliers providing inputs under this provision must provide a lien-notification statement but are exempt from other requirements of regular livestock production input liens.

Temporary livestock production input lien must be perfected within 60 days after the last date inputs are furnished, compared to six months for regular livestock production input liens.
