Amends Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 116J.437, subdivision 1, to expand the definition of "green economy"

Adds green chemistry as a sixth category of green economy activities, defined by reference to section 116.9401

Maintains five existing green economy categories: renewable energy use, statewide energy savings, greenhouse gas emission reduction, surface water protection and restoration, and biofuel expansion

Clarifies that green economy strategies under greenhouse gas reduction goals include utilizing existing buildings, infrastructure, mass transit, and reducing employee commuting

Effective the day following final enactment
