Modifies default retirement coverage for Minnesota State Colleges and Universities employees in eligible unclassified administrative positions to use Teachers Retirement Association if employee has sufficient service credit in other public pension plans to qualify for an annuity.

Requires employers to provide written notice within five days when an employee is appointed to, transferred to, or reclassified to an eligible unclassified administrative position, including default coverage details and contact information for retirement plan representatives.

Specifies that if an employee fails to correctly certify prior membership in the Teachers Retirement Association, the Minnesota State colleges and Universities system shall not pay interest on employee and employer contributions to that plan.

Notice requirement must include the name and telephone number of contact persons at the Teachers Retirement Association and for coverage under the chapter, with links to relevant websites.

Notice must also provide contact information and website links for the employee's current and former exclusive representative if the employee changed representatives within the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities System immediately before the position change.
