Amends Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 148B.54 to add an exception for licensed professional counselors seeking relicensure after license termination.

Individuals whose licenses were terminated before August 1, 2010 are exempt from continuing education requirements if they can demonstrate completion of the graduate credit requirement in subdivision 2.

Exempts qualifying individuals from continuing education requirements under Minnesota Rules, part 2150.2520, subpart 4 and Minnesota Rules, part 2150.0130, subpart 2.

Exemption does not apply to individuals whose license has been canceled.
