Delays the effective date of Laws 2009, chapter 79, article 5, sections 20, 21, and 38 to 42 to July 1, 2010, or 30 days after the Commissioner of Human Services publishes federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services approval in the State Register, whichever is later.

Applies the delayed amendments only to estates of decedents who die on or after the effective date.

The section itself is effective retroactively from July 1, 2009.
