Amends Minnesota Statutes section 136A.01, subdivision 2 to authorize the Minnesota Office of Higher Education to match individual student enrollment data with financial aid data.

Permits data matching for purposes of auditing or evaluating federal or state supported education programs, consistent with federal law under 20 U.S.C. § 1232g(b)(3) and 34 C.F.R. § 99.35.

Requires the office to conduct data matching in a manner that prevents personal identification of parents or students by individuals other than office representatives.
