Amends Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 157.15, subdivision 9, to modify the definition of "mobile food unit" and local government authority over such units.

Allows local governments to adopt ordinances permitting mobile food units to operate for more than 21 days annually at a single location, modifying the standard 21-day annual limit.

Requires any local ordinance allowing extended operations to include requirements or limitations deemed reasonably necessary to protect public health, safety, and general welfare.

Maintains the existing definition of mobile food units as vehicle-mounted establishments that are motorized or trailered and readily movable for transport without disassembly.
