All mandated reporters at child care centers must receive orientation to the risk reduction plan within 14 days of beginning unsupervised direct contact with children, with annual refresher training required

License holders must conduct annual reviews of risk reduction plans considering assessment factors, internal reviews conducted, substantiated maltreatment findings, and any incidents causing injury or harm to children

Defines "nonmaltreatment mistake" for child care centers as incidents where staff were performing assigned duties, the individual has no similar maltreatment findings in 7 years, and injuries require only over-the-counter treatment with facility compliance with all licensing requirements
