Increases the general conciliation court jurisdiction limit from $7,500 to $15,000 for civil claims

Increases the jurisdiction limit for consumer credit transaction claims from $4,000 to $7,500

Defines "consumer credit transaction" as a sale or loan for personal property by a seller or lender who regularly engages in such transactions, where the buyer is a natural person and the property is for personal, family, or household use

Effective July 1, 2010, and applies to claims filed on or after that date
