Expands the list of permissible paint colors for county sheriff vehicles to include black and gold in addition to the existing brown and white options.

Requires sheriff vehicles to display the governmental unit's identity on both front door panels and rear of the vehicle with letters at least 2-1/2 inches high and one inch wide.

Maintains existing requirements that sheriff vehicle identity be displayed in a color contrasting with the background so the vehicle is easily identifiable as law enforcement.

Allows security guards to continue using predominantly gold vehicles in their employment if the vehicles were in use before August 1, 2012, under a grandfather clause.
