Amends Minnesota Statutes section 119B.13, subdivision 7 to create an exception to the ten full-day absent days limit for child care reimbursement.

Children in families where at least one parent is under age 21, lacks a high school or GED diploma, and is enrolled in a school district program providing child care, parenting support, social services, and academic support may exceed the ten absent days limit upon program request and county approval.

Providers must be paid the full authorized amount for days when a child attends part of the authorized time, regardless of whether the ten absent day limit is exceeded.

Effective January 1, 2013.
