Amends Minnesota Statutes section 326B.46, subdivision 1a, to modify plumbing code requirements related to sump pumps and drain tiles.

Allows waterproofing contractors licensed under sections 326B.801 to 326B.89 to install a single sump pump in existing single-family dwellings that receives subsurface or seepage water through a subsoil drain and discharges to grade.

Requires that sump pump installations by waterproofing contractors comply with the Minnesota Plumbing Code, including proper installation, approved materials, and proper support of materials.
