Amends Minnesota Statutes section 123B.49, subdivision 4 to allow physically able resident pupils temporarily placed in a care and treatment program to participate in district extracurricular activities on the same basis as public school students

Extends existing eligibility for extracurricular activities (previously limited to home school students) to include pupils in temporary care and treatment placements

Maintains existing definitions and requirements for extracurricular activities, including that they are not offered for school credit, generally conducted outside school hours, and participant-directed under staff guidance

Takes effect the day following final enactment
