Appropriates $175,000 from the general fund to the commissioner of health in fiscal year 2012 and fiscal year 2013 for preventing sexual violence demonstration grants.

Grants shall be administered by the commissioner of health's injury and violence prevention unit in cooperation with the commissioner of public safety and the Office of Justice Programs.

Allocates $210,000 to establish three Preventing Sexual Violence Demonstration Communities selected based on epidemiological assessment of sexual violence impact, potential for effective outcomes, and geographic diversity.

Designates $70,000 to contract with a nonprofit partner for technical assistance in design, implementation, and evaluation of the demonstration grants, and $70,000 for commissioner administration.

Appropriated funds are available until expended and section becomes effective the day following final enactment.
