Expands the definition of "crime of violence" under Minnesota Statutes section 624.712, subdivision 5 to include additional felony offenses.

Adds 28 new offenses to the crimes of violence list, including domestic assault, domestic assault by strangulation, criminal abuse, crimes against unborn children, labor trafficking, and various firearm-related offenses.

Includes new offenses such as wildfire arson, killing or harming public safety dogs, firearm discharge in school or public housing zones, and adulteration.

Adds sexual offense categories including criminal sexual conduct in the fifth degree, criminal sexual predatory conduct, and solicitation of children to engage in sexual conduct.

Specifies that attempts to commit any of the listed offenses are also considered crimes of violence.
