Amends the definition of "severe impairment to employment" in Minnesota Statutes section 268A.15, subdivision 1a to explicitly include limitations experienced by persons diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and related conditions.

Defines "severe impairment to employment" as profound limitations that dramatically restrict an individual's ability to seek, secure, and maintain employment due to extended history of little or no employment, limited education, training, or job skills, and physical, intellectual, or emotional characteristics.

Appropriates an unspecified amount from the general fund beginning in fiscal year 2013 and each year thereafter to the Commissioner of Employment and Economic Development for extended employment services.

Services provided through the appropriation target persons with severe impairments to employment, specifically including those with autism spectrum disorder and related conditions.

Definition amendment becomes effective the day following final enactment.
